Unlike Norton, I don't think MB Premium has any kind of anti-spam or e-mail scanning features, although it would probably protect you if you opened a malicious e-mail attachment that was missed by Norton and it tried to execute malware on your system. Mysteriously to me, something has happened with the junk email in my account that has turned a daily inflow traffic of about 20 to 30 or more spam and fishing messages to 0.I am bringing this issue here because, in my mind, I cannot help it but think that it might be somehow related to this last Malwarebytes updates. Whatever happened, I would love to believe that this bonanza is bound to last and not just a lull in the activity of a bunch of professional spammers, perhaps enjoying already the fruits of their past catches in kind of an early Christmas sunny recess. I am bringing this issue here because, in my mind, I cannot help it but think that it might be somehow related to this last Malwarebytes updates. I may be wrong, of course, but one thing is for sure: It has to have been triggered by something. So my question is, has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone know or suspect that this is more likely to be due to something else? Well, actually, I did receive one single message in the junk mail folder in these last 8 to 10 days and I keep my fingers crossed for the current status to remain as such, whatever it may have been triggered by. Mysteriously to me, something has happened with the junk email in my account that has turned a daily inflow traffic of about 20 to 30 or more spam and fishing messages to 0.
